Great size for my arthritic old girl
I had a smaller raised bowl initially for my 15 yr old cocker spaniel but she still seemed to struggle with bending down to it and because the bowl was quite small, she seemed to find it difficult to get to everything and lots of food ended up spilled all over the floor. This is probably way bigger than recommended for her breed but she no longer needs to bend at all, which makes her back legs less likely to splay and slide on the kitchen floor. She also doesn’t struggle to keep the food in the bowl – the only downside is her ears droop in it if we aren’t there to hold them back!
Best dog bowl ever
My dog thinks he’s playing for the Olympic hockey team when you put his bowl of food down on the floor!. He is a large dog and bats the bowl violently with his front paw sending it careening across the room, crashing into furniture and walls and inevitably sending a shower of dog food pieces all over the room! This is, as you can imagine, somewhat of a nuisance. This bowl is the only one that has come anywhere near curbing this behavior.
I already have one of these bowls at home and we have filled it with gravel/small aggregate which is heavier than water or wet sand. He still manages, amazingly, to move the bowl, but hasn’t managed to tip it over.
We take our dog on holiday with us and it has become very tiresome using a travel bowl with the same result of food being shot all over the place, therefore we have decided to invest in another one of these dog bowls to take away with us and fill with water when we get there and empty again when we return home. I realize that it won’t be as heavy a the one filled with gravel, but it is not practical to take that one as it is too heavy and I am hoping that my dog will think it’s his usual bowl and won’t even bother to try to knock it over. Anyway, that’s the plan.
With two dogs who both manage to spill dishes these have been a godsend. I got 3. Now don’t get me wrong, they’re expensive and they probably don’t need to be so much but I’m still happy with this choice. We’ve used other anti spill dishes but these are the only ones that have worked for us. They wash easily and clip onto the weighter base securely. Ours are filled with water at the moment and it’s easily enough weight.
Yes I’d have liked them to be cheaper but I’d still recommend them.
Perfect for our retriever
Ordered a 900 size for our golden retriever. Product arrived on time and we are very pleased with it. Its very sturdy when filled with water. Perfect size for retrievers , perfect height . It doesnt come with a inner bowl i think for the price it should do
The price i feel is probably a touch over priced but i would recommend esp for larger dogs you will definitely need the 900 large size
Great for dogs that keep moving their bowls
I’ve got two of these for two out of three dogs. We purchased one because the pup kept moving the bowl around so needed smth sturdy. Bought second for other dog, because these are easy to use, clean, and they don’t get as messy as metal stands, also won’t have to worry about rust.
Both our dogs are size of medium bordercollies.
I love that they can be filled with water,so easy to take with us if going somewhere. Altogether great design ❤️❤️❤️
My only wish would be that there’s one more size – higher one, for dogs that are very large. As I think this would be a bit too low for our third dog (size of St Bernard).

NO MORE SPILLS OR MOVING MEALS:
The PetWeighter pet bowl comprises a base and a bowl that locks onto and removes easily from the base for filling and cleaning. The base can be filled with water, sand or ice, to give it a weight of up to 13kg. When the bowl is placed back on the base, pets aren’t able to move the bowl around or knock it over to spill their food or water.
ELEVATED FEEDING POSITION:
The elevated eating position of this dog bowl may help improve your pet’s digestion and can also be easier on their joints. Both digestion and joint complaints are increasingly common in veterinary practice and elevated feeding is often recommended by vets.
SIMPLE & EASY:
The base of our pet feeding bowl is light and easily detachable from the unit, so it’s effortless to fill or clean. This dog food bowl is specially designed in such a way that your pet eats at bay without spilling or messing himself up!
The Heavy Pet Bowl is designed by healthcare engineers with hygiene in mind to ensure that the bowl has no cracks and crevices that will attract dirt. The Elevated Dog Bowl will also stay where you put it, which will help establish a dedicated pet feeding area in your home and result in only one feeding zone to clean! The bowl is also dishwasher safe for your convenience.
NO MORE CHASING:
Your pet is our pet too! Don’t let your pet chase their bowl anymore to consume their food or drink! The non-slip design of the dog eating bowl prevents it from sliding while your pet eats.
From our customers...
“We like it! Just got it yesterday. The large size is large! Looks much better than what I had before, a bowl on a shoebox. I also like you can add ice cubes to the base. Well done. No more shoebox!.”
“Now I love this bowl. Much easier for my large dog to eat from, From small or dog bowls she would choke a lot so I’m happy I ordered this bowl..”
“LOVE IT!!! I can’t say one bad thing about it and could go on for hours about why I am SO glad I decided on this bowl. Take my advice and try it out, you will love it too!”
